My auntie died last month because of Kidney failure. She's been undergoing for Dialysis treatment for more than 10 years. I am really amazed how strong she is ans she managed to survive such a critical stage of her life. Believe it or not, she managed to raise her children well despite of her illness. My cousin was able to graduate in a Nursing school.
My cousin actually pursued a nursing career because he wishes to take care of her mom once he graduated. Unfortunately, her mom passed away but his dream to become a nurse is still there and he will do it for his mom.
He is also planning to take Phlebotomy in addition to his current course. For those who are not familiar with Dialysis treatment, is a process for removing waste and excess water from the blood. He mom had been dealing with a phlebotomist and other health care specialists in each and every sessions that she had. I'm not really sure but I think my cousin is planning to focus on such field to help those patients who are undergoing dialysis treatment like her mom.
I haven't heard anything from him yet but I'm sure he's keeping himself busy in schools and I wishes him all the success.
